Look! It ain’t The Plaza Hotel. But, for the money, the bed is comfortable and the price is cheap. If you’re just looking to not drive home, it’s pretty good.
Night front desk people really nice. Day front desk...just don't ask to many questions. Breakfast... husband went in ...7 am ...I went to check on him sitting there ..he didn't know how to navigate...no instructions. Asked front desk lady what ...we don't like to assume or just run thru without permission I guess...she said ..we don't wait on you. But he found his way once I made him feel it's ok to look.
Shannon was very friendly and accommodating. I was very disappointed with the condition of the room for over $130 for a Saturday night. The jucosi tub was absolutely wonderful!! The large burn holes in a non-smoking room on the bedspread just below the pillow, yuck. There was no way housekeeping didn't see it. My hand hit it as I was putting my purse on the bed. There was also a small stain on the pristine white, very soft bottom sheet. If they had turned the sheet around, I wouldn't have seen it and it wouldn't have bothered me. But it was right by the pillow. There was some kind of sticky residue on the sink counter and the ice bucket tray hadn't been washed on a while as there was stuff in the corners. This may be picky, but I spurged for a nice room. The $60 rooms we have been staying in were in better condition. However, they didn't have a jucosi! We're just very disappointed in the condition of the room, for the money.
I had a fire that destroyed my home and lost EVERYTHING Jeannie at the front desk was very accommodating I stayed here for 21 day's had 3 dog's and they worked with me and my unfortunate loss Jeannie was so friendly and my housekeeper was wonderful also as the rest of the staff that I met.. the ONLY thing was paying $20 x 3 dog's a night and struggling but I am greatful they let me and 3 dog's my Babie's when they only allow 2 dog's I appreciate them bending a bit.. my room was clean and my housekeeper Hope took care of us.. in the time I stayed i haven't seen any kind of bug's in my room .. coffee was good and hot I only had cereal a few TIME'S but they have waffles and cereal and coffee in the morning's.. I appreciate the whole staff for their accommodations in our time of total loss.. I'm also disabled Jeannie gave us a ground room and make it easier to get my girl's out ..she also let us check in very early I think it was 10 am as I walked in covered in soot from the fire .. thank y'all so much for being so kind and very considerate and concerned for us..
Even though Hurricane Helene literally blew through the area, the employees still showed up for work... even though their own homes were effected from the Storm. I applaud these hard workers, and if I were to fly to West Columbia (CAE) again, I would stay here again. Granted it's not a 5 star hotel, the 2 bedroom 1 bath did it's job comfortably. Thank You
Nice stay, got in late from work. Room on 1st floor was huge which is nice. Bathroom was huge as well, clean for the most part other than what appeared as red rust stains on the shelves in the shower and on the floor. Bed was clean and comfy. Walls are very thin so I could hear conversations when I awoke in the morning. Staff were very friendly when I interacted with them. Didn't have breakfast here as I got up late so I don't know fully what they offer, I went to waffle house.
Rooms The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed felt supportive, and the space was well kept. Everything looked tidy and ready when I arrived, which made it easy to settle in and relax. Service Service was friendly and helpful. Staff greeted guests with respect and answered questions in a clear way. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the team stayed attentive during the stay. Location The location was convenient and easy to reach. It felt close to main roads, shops, and places to eat, which made it simple to get around during the trip.
Ultra friendly staff, modest pricing, room was a little dated but clean and bed was comfy. A little breakfast bar that included juices, cereal, and a waffle machine. The pool was clean and well maintained. Overall was a wonderful stay
